Sophia grew up without her mom. As a child she was back and forth from her dad’s place, her kookum (her grandmother), and the group home. Later, Sophia moved to Onion Lake to care for her grandma as she grew older. Then in high school Sophia got involved in an abusive relationship and a lifestyle of drinking and drugs. About The Storyteller
The Storyteller is an audio collection of true life stories of First Nations people from across Native North America who are following Jesus Christ without reservation. Don’t be fooled, this is not some religious, feel good program. This is real life. It’s raw, direct and personal. Have you ever wondered if there really is hope for something better? We invite you to listen to Indigenous voices – Native American / First Nations Christians who understand. The Storyteller is broadcast weekly on radio to 600+ communities in Canada and the US and is available as a podcast.
