Abuse almost pushed Carroll over the edge. “I remember this one night, I said, This is enough of this, and so I loaded up the rifle when we went to the bush the next day, and I just hid behind a tree, and I see my dad coming, I cocked the old rifle, and had it on his head, and I was following him through the bush, and I just wanted to pull the trigger so bad. But I know to this day, I know now, that it was God that kept me from doing it. I would have blown him away, no question.”
About The Storyteller
The Storyteller is an audio collection of true life stories of First Nations people from across Native North America who are following Jesus Christ without reservation. Don’t be fooled, this is not some religious, feel good program. This is real life. It’s raw, direct and personal. Have you ever wondered if there really is hope for something better? We invite you to listen to Indigenous voices – Native American / First Nations Christians who understand. The Storyteller is broadcast weekly on radio to 600+ communities in Canada and the US and is available as a podcast.
